He won’t let Harrisburg's gridlock prevent him from delivering for us.

Anthony Hardy Williams never set out to follow his father into politics. He planned on using his academic experience to launch a career in the business world.

Sen.AnthonyWilliams

Armed with the moral courage and the fearless approach to leadership he learned from his father, State Senator Hardy Williams, and his mom, a public school teacher, Senator Williams puts the people he represents first.

Anthony Hardy Williams never set out to follow his father into politics. He planned on using his academic experience to launch a career in the business world. After majoring in economics at Franklin & Marshall College, he found success as an executive at a Fortune 500 company.

But two tragedies in his community – the 1985 MOVE bombing near where he grew up and the senseless shooting death of 5-year-old Marcus Yates in 1988 – convinced him he could make a bigger impact working with people who needed a hand up and a voice speaking on their behalf

Armed with the moral courage and the fearless approach to leadership he learned from his father, State Senator Hardy Williams, and his mom, a public school teacher, Senator Williams puts the people he represents first. He and his wife, Shari, are raising their two daughters right here in the 8th District.

Senator Williams won’t let Harrisburg gridlock prevent him from seeking out smart ideas and making them happen.

As our senator, he’s delivered for us time and time again.
